Boosting tourism in Scotland
We worked with Visit Britain to convince Dutch, French and American tourists to visit and explore Inverness. And, unlike previous campaigns that had steered clear of Inverness' most famous inhabitant, we embraced it with a short, sharp online campaign: Tips for Monster Hunting.
It's a simple platform that allowed us to highlight loads of different Inverness features – from their distilleries, which monster hunters could visit to 'grow their courage', to their famous local music scene, where the hunters could 'listen to the local folk' and learn more about the legend.
The first phase ran in March. The second has just launched. And visitor numbers are booming.
